Pride in Public Education
Since 1994, NJEA has conducted the Pride in Public Education campaign, a statewide effort to share the successes of public education with all New Jerseyans and build strong community support for and involvement in our public schools.
NJEA provides grants to its local affiliates for projects that bring the public schools out into the community and the community into the public schools. Family involvement programs, participation in community fairs and events, Read Across America celebrations, and senior citizen outreach efforts are among the hundreds of local “Pride” projects conducted each year by NJEA members.
All of MTEA Pride events will be posted on the MTEA Facebook page for you to follow. Look for our gallery of photos reflecting the Pride and Time our members have dedicated to the community .
As you know it always Takes a Village to organize and facilitate community events.
Volunteers are always needed.
